The elevator was broken and we had to go up 3 flights of stairs. When It was our turn for Housekeeping, they left trash bins full and didn’t make one bed. The sheets were not replaced and were dirty. When we complained they said it was because there was a stuffed animal on it. The breakfast was worse than usual and they didn’t have waffles available. When we complained they said they would send an attendant the following day. It was not the usual Hampton inn experience and we have been to many! They just didn’t care at all.

The Hampton Inn out Mount Dora was a very comfortable, clean and safe place to say. My goal is to stay in downtown Mount Dora, but there was nothing available. I don’t really like staying in chain hotels, but this fit the bill. I think this hotel needs some updating as it’s not brand new but overall it was a nice experience and the breakfast was very good and the people working there were very nice so no complaints.
