Staff was very nice but the rooms are extremely run down and not clean. Breakfast left a lot to be desired and we passed on it after the bagel tasting off. Used to be a great property and is in a great location so hope they can make some improvements/ fix some things so we can come back.

Front desk called my room phone to say they had noise complaints and to ask if I heard anything (staying alone) explained there was loud banging and running noises coming from upstairs. Nothing was done about the noise so not sure why they even bothered to call and ask. Upon check out front desk couldn’t be found and was outside smoking.

Staff and the whole atmosphere was great because of the staff. All the staff we encountered were absolutely wonderful, super accommodating and looking to serve their guests. Breakfast was really good too. The cleanliness was great but the upkeep was not maintained at all. Sauna was completely broken and out of order the pool and hot tub were kept just enough to be considered suitable to swim in. The color of them is supposed to be white and it mostly brown especially in the hot tub, the jets were broke. They bubbled but didn’t come out of the spot in the jet it was supposed to it like bubbled from the cracks. The walls are all falling apart everywhere because there is no vent system in the pool and only 2 chairs so finding a place to put your things while swimming was a nightmare. The whole entire ceiling in the bathroom was speckled with mold and the shower bar was holding on by a thread. The curtain was a paper thin, way to short piece if facbric with no plastic liner so it got wet and made a mess. Walking down the hallways you can see where there has been a leak or something leaving massive spots all over the carpet all the way down the first floor. We had someone keep us up until 3am the first night by sounding like they were bowling or throwing furniture. I have three wild kids of my own so I understand noise and have never ever called on someone before and had no choice but to because we needed some Sleep. The noise persisted for another hour after calling the desk..

It was a nice place, very family friendly. Breakfast was just a very limited continental style, we ended up just going elsewhere. We may stay again if we get a different room. The staff was friendly and it was right in the middle of downtown so there were places to walk too and things to do with the kids.
