The front desk staff is unprofessional and rude and not welcoming of certain nationalities. The hotel had bathroom had mold and rust. The breakfast didn’t have any hot foods besides waffles. No elevator so need to carry luggage up the stairs. Honestly the entire staff needs to be changed. Whatever you do, do not come here!

Funky smell inside room. Bathtub had stains. Air conditioner was broken. Area was surrounded by bunch of homeless. Outdoor parking has limited spaces and poorly designed.

The hotel offers an excellent location for anyone visiting Universal Studios, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Griffith Observatory, and other major attractions. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby, which makes the stay very convenient. The property also provides free parking (a rare benefit in Los Angeles) and a simple complimentary breakfast, which includes a very good waffle. It is a small hotel without an elevator, so guests need to carry their luggage up the stairs, but the building has a maximum of two floors, which minimizes the inconvenience. Overall, it provides very good value for the price.
