Great location just a couple of blocks from the beach, 15 minute walk to SM pier. Good looking set-up for this family run place, so on reception was very friendly, room was excellent with all we needed, quiet at night. Back in England now, wish I was there again!

Two blocks from the beach. Saturday a jazz combo was playing during the day in a park across the street. Farmers maarket there on Sunday. Popular breakfast spot on property. Classic two-story motel with doors opening onto a courtyard. Well-kept rooms. Great water pressure. Friendly staff. Free off-street parking. Good stay.

I loved this place! Fabulous old-style motel, right down to the real room keys. Your kids won't even know what these are! Room was large and comfortable; same for the bed and the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly, offering me a microwave, beach chairs, beach towels. Plenty of parking. Terrific location, two blocks from beach and half block from great Irish pub / restaurant. With the fridge and microwave, table and chairs, and large closet, a couple could easily enjoy an extended stay here. I wish I went to Santa Monica more often so I could stay at the Sea Shore Motel!
