I have been staying at this hotel for the past seven years, at least twice a year, and each stay has been longer than two weeks. However, despite being a long-term and loyal customer, the hotel offers no benefits or recognition for returning guests. Every year, I experience the same issue: I cannot watch a movie on the TV for more than five minutes because the internet connection is very poor. In addition, I was informed that starting this year, breakfast is no longer provided. Another major reason I seriously reconsider staying at this hotel is the pillow. It is extremely uncomfortable and has caused me neck pain

The room was in good condition and the staff were friendly. It would be great if the hotel had soft yellow/ warm lightening instead of that hospital white lighting. Be also great if the jacuzzi was hotter and open till 10 or 11pm per guest request. Most hotels have their pool facilities open till at least 10pm. Wish I could have used shampoo to wash but there was very little in the dispensers. I thought the coffee and pastries were a good touch at reception. I think if the hotel did what is recommended here it would be a good to great place to stay. Focus on the small touches and not the bottom line profits and you may see more people.

The Hills Inn is a moderately-priced older two-story hotel, with interior parking. There is an elevator to the upper floor, and several staircases. Our room was clean and quiet; housekeeping changes linens every other day. There is a refundable $100 damage deposit, which was credited a few days after our departure. Staff are polite and friendly. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again for future visits to Eagle Rock.
