Overall Nice hotel. During our stay there was construction on the road in front of the hotel. Nearby was a welfare office so had to walk around them. I did not feel comfortable.

Great location, easy access to Calle Baja and Plaza del Sol. Smaller, no real frills hotel, but since we weren’t spending much time it suited our needs perfectly. Clean, quiet, noon check out was appreciated after late nights out in Madrid.

Walkable to many sites I wanted to see such as Plaza Mayor, Prado Museum, Puerta de Alcalá, Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace, Parque del Retiro, other museums, food, and plenty shopping. I would recumbent to go here during winter months. It was hot and humid.
