Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Location is good and staff are great. But the hotel is completely run down and falling apart. Heater didn’t work. So we had to actually sleep with jackets on us!. Restaurant upstairs in the main building didnt have much of good options. Just basics. Bar was missing some of their beers that was on the menu. Overall wouldn't go back

The room was very dated. The worst part about it was the heater - it made terrible noise and barely produced heat. It is winter now (late January), so we needed it to work. However, getting a good night's sleep was not possible. The bathroom was also pretty old - the shower/tub switch was very difficult to use. If you are staying there in the summer and it is hot (at least in this room) - there is no A/C, heater only. The ski-in/out part is also overstated - it is definitely close to slopes (short walk), but the closest you can get to is the parking lot, from which you will need to walk 5-10 minutes, depending on which "wing" of the hotel you are staying you are staying in.

Best place to stay for a ski trip to Mammoth! You walk across a driveway and you’re at the gondola! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Bathroom use a little update but who cares when you are ski in ski out. Great restaurant and bar right in hotel. Didn’t need to leave the mountain for anything except church. Shout out to St Joseph’s Catholic Church. The priest was incredible! Will definitely stay at this inn again!

It is great for where it is at and the room was good for the price. Just wish it had a microwave. Although there is micros in common areas. We went midweek and on an off week. Also booked far in advance. Will probably definitely stay there again.

Someone did a hit and run on my Silver 4Runner while I was parked in the Mammoth Mountain Inn parking garage for 2-1/2 days and I was told by the Mammoth Mountain Inn receptionist that there are no security cameras so due to the lack of security I will have to pay at least a thousand bucks for car repairs since I don't have the criminal's license plate number. Additionally, Mammoth ski resort closed due to snowing, while they could have at least opened opened one run at the base of the mountain. For these major reasons, my stay at Mammoth Mountain Inn was terrible.
