Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. I love the Mammoth Mountain Inn, but I have always stayed in the main building before. We stayed in the West Wing, which is much more like a hotel, but close to pool and spa +, but it was an unusually warm night and without AC, we couldn't cool off the room to get sleep.

The rooms need a renovation and the ceiling in the hallway and some rooms are a little low for taller people. Everything else is great though. The location is excellent, right by the Mammoth gondola.

The room was very run down, really the whole building needs a renovation, but there was food splattered over the curtains, the carpet was filthy, the walls were disgusting and if it wasn't for the spectacular view, I would be complaining more. But it certainly wasn't worth the amount I paid!

The location us at a great location for skiing. Close to restaurants. However, the room smelled a little like cigarettes. I requested a non-smoking room.
