The staff was super friendly, especially the lady who helped us checking in, giving the welcoming vibes. What I like was the view, we arrived late and I didn’t see the view at night but at morning, it was absolutely beautiful! Peace and relax, with the balcony. Also I love the shower, the shower head was big, the water rundown feels like keep your whole body warm. Complimentary parking and breakfast. The only thing I don’t really like was there’s a fan on the ceiling turned on since we came in, which I don’t know how to turn it off and the staff don’t know either. Overall I enjoyed it pretty much and would come back in the future

Overall room was clean and beds were comfortable. Shower leaked all over floor, needs some fixing. Lighting in room could be brighter. Pool and hot tub were nice. Sunsets were beautiful. Odd there is no bar available from Monday to Thursday while we were there. Breakfast was available. Chair for beach available and beach was great. 3 night stay

Very pretty and clean. But one frustration after another. TV didn't work even after 3 attempts to fix by staff. Had to pack up and change rooms. Lights not working in vanity area. Breakfast, cold eggs, sausage, no coffee, no milk for cereal, no silverware. No ice machine in area and had to bother front desk to bring. Our long awaited 3 day vaca seemed shortened by these concerns. Staff was always pleasant. Probably wouldn't recommend.

Not clear that the restaurant and bar was only open weekends. Disappointing. Also the jacuzzi was malfunctioning the whole time. Only two bikes where available to lend. Quality of sports equipment was pretty poor.

The charges for the resort fee left us a little underwhelmed. For $55 per day we expected the "free" internet to work and the "free" breakfast to at least have spoons for the cold cereal. On a positive note - the staff was amazing!

Banana Bay is no resort! It’s an old Florida motel that has been updated. The room and bed were comfortable enough but certainly not resort level comfortable. The pool area closed at 4pm everyday and there was no other area close to the rooms where guests could congregate and enjoy a drink in the evening. The “resort” did have an outdoor bar area but you had to walk through a dimly lit path past the pool and then past the smelly marina to the waterfront corner of the property. I did not feel safe walking there solo.

Disappointing

The sink was badly chipped. There was a puddle by the patio door that I mopped up with a towel. The night stand next to the bed was covered with something that looked like old throw up. We were told the beach bar was open at 5-10. However it was definitely not.

The pool and deck are run down with a closed down bar. The grounds are messy not kept up at all. Breakfast selection amd food was awful. Biscuits served straight from fridge cold. Bed was clean and comfortable but floors turn feet black. Hair in the sink and a bug in tge shower. on top of this I was charged $100 more a night and when i questioned this Hotels.com was of no help and literally could not understand what i was saying and have never followed up with me.

The mattress in Room 318 needs to be replaced. There was a dip in the mattress on the left hand side. Outside of that, everything was great, a decent breakfast, the Marina bar the hammocks on amazing for the price.

It’s Just OK

This hotel was comfortable, but only mediocre. The front desk is not open all night. The bar is only open for very limited hours in the evening. The breakfast is just so so but the coffee was absolutely horrible. When you see the photos of the two Adirondack chairs overlooking the water, those are the ONLY chairs down there. Two. For the whole resort. In my opinion, this hotel is just average.
