This place should be advertised as a motel with a pool instead of a Resort. The rooms are tiny, windows are covered so its feels more like you are trapped inside the tiniest motel room ever. The floor was very dirty, like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in months. Our 111 was literally in front of the main highway so you could hear all of the cars and traffic passing by. Overall, this isn’t the worst place I’ve stayed at but it’s not something I would recommend if you are a looking for a nice place to stay. It’s definitely NOT worth $400 per night.

The hotel is in a convenient location and the front desk employee was very friendly. The room itself was a disappointment. There was a strong smell of mold which they are undoubtedly aware of because they tried to mask it with some kind of product. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine but the mold smell was overwhelming. We opened our window - because the AC was just recirculating the musty air - which helped because it was cool and dry weather. We didn’t complain because we were just there for a night but we couldn’t have done another night. Also, a room called “Island View” at the very least implies you will see water. But this room faced other similar rooms and ran alongside a concrete commercial building.

Love this sweet place. We used the complimentary kayaks and were able to see Manatees in the wild, lizards and a pelican too. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small.

This is an older property but it is well maintained and very clean. The front desk, housekeeping, & maintenance people are all very helpful and very courteous. We had a problem with the A/C unit and the manager stepped in and had it replaced in a couple of days. They really care about their guest comfort. My only complain would be we were located on the highway side and there is traffic 24/7 down the highway, so a little noisy.

I had an awesome stay at coconut cay! I thought it would be a little dated but I was happily surprised with an updated room including a king bed and large shower. I loved staying here.. the back had seating under string lights, chairs by the dock and tables. It was such a lovely surprise. The place offers paddle boards, bikes and a dock with no charge. I’ll be back!
