This was my second time staying here in a month. The first time, I actually liked it—despite my husband insisting it was dirty. I disagreed at the time and just felt it was outdated, not unclean. However, during our second stay (room 106 on the first floor), we ran into a serious issue. We began seeing roaches in the kitchenette area. We killlrd a few before leaving for dinner, and when we returned and turned on the lights, several more scattered. It was disappointing and unsettling. The property has potential, but it’s in serious need of a deep cleaning, pest control, and an overall update. Right now, it feels like stepping into a dusty early 2000s Kirkland’s or Hobby Lobby. I really wanted to like it again, but this experience made it hard to justify coming back.

The property is so clean, great staff, location is great. We have lake view so it was a perfect ending to our day that my husband decided to stay another night. We would definitely be coming back. Its close to Krause Springs and Austin.

We booked for the 4th of July events. however, the weather didn't agree. Wasn't the hotels' fault at all that all outside events were cancelled. But the room was comfortable, and the indoor hot tub was just what we needed. The breakfast was also yummy and tasted like a homemade meal.
