Nice location for touring McGregor and Prairie du Chien. We went to Effigy Mounds, Pikes Peak, and an Irish Pub. Good parking and views from the 4th floor. Room pretty basic, had everything we needed though.

Amazing property with plenty to do in the area! We had a fantastic stay—this property is beautiful, well-maintained, and located in a vibrant area with lots of attractions, restaurants, and activities nearby. It’s perfect for anyone looking to relax or explore. The only minor drawback is the limited on-site parking. However, we had no problem finding additional parking on the nearby city streets, which made it manageable. Overall, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Cute and comfortable

This was an unexpected surprise on how comfortable i was in this hotel. It was close to the railroad but quiet. You could see the river from the hotel and there's a little scenic overlook attached to the hotel.

our room was next to the railroad tracks. They should notify you when you reserve the room that you have that one or offer a discount to take it. Several trains every night.And the ear plugs by the TV was the first "hint" that they are aware of the issue.

Mother daughter road trip

Nice view of river and old buildings out our window. Nice area to walk to river overlook. Also, the bridge that connects the hotel to the upper overlook was nice as well. There isn't anywhere to eat in town, but Casey's was right across the street. We ended up with a couple slices of pizza. Breakfast seemed a little limited and not replenished. But, overall a really good stay.

There are trains going through blowing their whistles every half hour. They are so loud you can hear them over the air conditioner. They provide earplugs but they hurt. Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise a nice hotel but if you can't sleep what's the point???

Terrible TV

Stayed during football playoffs and the television was terrible. Remote barely worked. Closed Captioning wouldnt shut off. Spent most of our night trying to fix the tv.
