The location of this hotel is ideal, close to many shops and both Bethel University and Notre Dame. When we checked in, there were two front desk staff, a very friendly and informative young lady was assisting another patron and proceeded to welcome her with a couple bottles of complimentary waters and they had a pleasant interaction that included a map of the hotel with directions to the location of their room. While this is going on, we were experiencing a completely different interaction. The front desk employee that checked us in was dismissive and rude towards us. No information about anything related to the area or the hotel was provided. We also did not receive a map to our room, just a quick “up the elevator to the second floor” finger pointing and no bottles of water either. I would hate to think that we were treated this way because of our race, both being people of color. But there was no other reason for the disparity. We were excited to be in town to move our daughter in to her dorm and walked away worried that this type of mistreatment was a normality for the area. The bed and amenities in the room were decent. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant odor in the hallways, similar to a wet dog and musty basement smell.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and further improvements were being made while we were there - fresh paint, and the parking lot looked recently refreshed….getting ready for football season, I suppose. The king bed was surprisingly uncomfortable for a Hilton. I almost always choose Hilton for comfort and cleanliness. The sheets were clean, and pillows seemed to be new, so, yay! But the bed was really hard, and the bottom sheet would not stay in place. It wrinkled, pulled and moved with me. Interestingly, the pull-out couch was much more comfortable. My teen daughter, who usually hates those (for good reason) actually preferred to sleep there. The bed just needed a better pad. Still, it had what we needed. It was in a great location. I would stay again.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay. I traveled to South Bend for business and stayed at this hotel for 4 days. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to wake up in the morning. It was very clean, quiet and serene. The amenities were outstanding, and the staff were kind, considerate and professional. I will definitely stay here again!

105 is loud

The room was excellent as always. Staff was great. The room 105 was very noisy air units running wright outside the window. And extremely noisy in the morning from staff. This was our 5th stay there and we always got free breakfast until this time. They said since they had sold there had been some changes but couldn't explain this one

Had an excellent stay. The breakfasts were delicious. We stayed on the first floor with a patio, which we used and enjoyed very much. We will stay here again when we return to visit our relatives.

My second time here and same as last time one if my favorite hotels in mishawaka/south bend area ive stayed in a few others and they have let their property go down a lot many years so just stop going to them then i found this place love it so far hope they keep doing what they do.

I appreciated that it was an easy drive to the University of Notre Dame. There are many dining options around the hotel. The hotel itself was nice and clean. The front desk and service staff were all helpful and sweet. I would stay here again.

This property offers a wide variety of things to do and many areas in which to relax. Accommodations were very comfortable. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We especially liked the small kitchen area, dining chairs, and couch in our room. Also liked all the Notre Dame sports memorabilia around the property We will definitely consider staying here again.

Spacious, comfortable

Check in was very smooth & fast. We only stopped overnight as part of a larger trip so didn't get to take advantages of the amenities. Bed was extremely comfortable and room was spacious. Room seemed a little musty with a loud AC, but didn't impact much of our stay. We would definitely stay here again if able.
