For a property this beautiful, it’s a shame that it rates “0” in cleanliness and service. The room was smelling like hell and we tried to reach the front desk through phone, cell phone call and their preference “text”. Tried for about 3 hours. Their phone was “engaged”. While checking out thought will tell them about this and shower but the staff did not seem to be interested to hear at all.

Perfect location for walking to the wharf or even Cannery Row. Great atmosphere to relax by the pool in between activities in town. Great restaurant with lovely ambiance at the hotel. If you are visiting a student at Middlebury In Monterey this is your place! The only negative was it was advertised on hotels.com as offering laundry services and it does not have laundry. Other than that we were happy with this room for the type of trip/stay we had planned.
