The Centrella is a beautiful historic building, and the rooms are well-preserved and charming. It does feel like some corners are being cut in the management, however. Breakfast is minimal, even by Continental breakfast standards. The front desk has very limited hours, and housekeeping was not offering mid-stay service, aside from towel replacements.

The room was clean & an adequate space; the bed is old and can be upgraded; pillows need refreshing too. Large spacious bathroom was good; baseboard heating in winter was nice versus typical foreced air. Turning off the lights in the lobby 9pm is a hardship if one doesn't one to be in their room. The female desk employee working evenings needs customer svc training; unfriendly and abrupt. We did enjoy the one glass of free bubbles or wine ea nite; nice touch with homemade chocolate chip cookies. Hotel in great location to walk to the coastline or a block into restaurants in town.

Lovely place. Very charming, excellent location, clean, and a very kind and helpful staff. Only complaints were that the parking was a bit challenging if arriving late at night. The breakfast and coffee left a little to be desired although they did have lovely yogurt parfait.

There is an assigned parking spot for each person so parking was not an issue. Breakfast was OK but you had to ask for the yogurt and fruit. There were no indications in the dining room. What you were supposed to do when you got there otherwise the room was clean. Place was a little rundown, but still very clean and very nice.

The pillow sheets and bed sheets were not new. We checked in after 8:30PM, so there were no staff on site to address this problem. The old building charm and friendly staff are real.
