This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at any hotel! I arrived 20 minutes early, 2:40 PM PST, for check-in. The clerk/manager informed me that the room wasn't ready until the standard 3:00 PM PST check-in time. That was an sufficient explanation. I went back to the office at 3:00 PM PST and the clerk/manager informed me it would be another 20 minutes before my room would be available. That was unacceptable! I had already waited 20 minutes. The clerk/manager was flippant and told me that I could get a refund. That was an unacceptable response! At this given hotel there are two identical rooms that have in-room spa tubs (Room Nos. 38 and 39). When I arrived at 2:40 PM PST the clerk/manager arbitrarily assigned me Room 39. When I went back to the office at 3:00 PM PST, there was another customer in the lobby. After waiting for that customer to check-in, I was informed that my assigned room (Room No. 39) was going to take an additional 20 minutes to get ready. As it turns out, the customer who arrived at 3:00 PM PST for check-in was assigned Room 38 (which was ready)! The identical and twin of Room 39! The clerk/manager should've assigned Room 38 to myself and instructed the customer who arrived 20 minutes after I arrived to wait 20 minutes for Room 39! That would've been the right thing to do! I'll take my future business elsewhere and never consider this place again!
