Great staff and definitely pet friendly however pets limited to first floor which doesn't have sufficient insulation from noise of above guest rooms. Parking is tight and when all spots were filled there was apparently still vacancy.

The room was spotless and the staff were wonderful—very friendly and helpful! Having a microwave and fridge/freezer in the room was a great bonus. The space was a bit dark since the window faced a wall, and the bed was a little squeaky and not the most comfortable. Also, as the hotel is near the airport, light sleepers might notice some noise at night. Overall, though, it was a pleasant and convenient stay!

They have great customer service, everything was well clean, it in a safe area, parking is good during the weekday, if you have a dog they they accept having your pet there plus they have a little gated outdoor area for dogs. The only things we didn't like is that the walls are so thin that you hear others that are outside and or people in the other rooms.

We arrived a couple hours before check in time and they were extremely accommodating. They let us get a room early! Very pleasant at the lobby. The room was very clean. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was roomy and clean. I would stay there again!

Excellent place to stay. room are very spacious and very clean. The location is very convenient in terms of proximity to the Wharf and the beach - about 6-7 minutes drive. Easy to find, easy parking and check in. Would recommend as great location to stay on Monterey. We stayed two nights whilst exploring Pacific Highway 1 and doing whale watching trip. thank you for pleasant stay.

We did like that there was a enclosed spot to let you dog run leash free. What we didn't like was the $40/night add-on charge per dog which was not advertised on the orbitz site where we made the reservations. They also advertised over 150 channels and when we got there it was only three. The weather channel, a shopping channel, and some channel that only played 80's sitcoms. And NO complimentary continental breakfast. Other than that, the rooms were clean, the water was hot, and the beds were somewhat comfy. Bring your own towels too because the bath towels are the size of a dinner placemat.

Quick overnight trip went well

Stopped for a quick overnight trip. Staff very friendly, modern-looking room and most importantly clean. Walls a little thin, but still slept well. 7-11 is across the street if you need to pick up anything.

What a perfect little place to rest your head after a long day of touring around Monterey/ Carmel or an enduring a slew of meetings. These folks have figured out the value proposition perfectly. Is it the Four Seasons? No, but that’s not what you’re after. While the layout and amenities are similar to many of the other establishments in the area, the difference the Pacific Inn makes is the upgraded rooms, specifically the washroom/shower facilities. Small touches that really set them apart. Also they don’t charge a property fee, because we’re not hanging around the property anyway. Property fees just make folks wonder what they’re paying extra for. So for a budget friendly place to stay in the Monterey area I recommend Pacific Inn wholeheartedly.
