horrible experience in Montrose Colorado

We checked into the hotel late after a long day of hiking at the near by National Park, so we dropped our luggage and headed out to eat some dinner. Once we returned, we prepared ourselves to sleep and upon pulling back the blankets on the bed, we saw that while the bed was fully made, the sheets and pillow cases were still dirty. it even looked like there was hair on one of the pillow cases. there was only one person on staff who was able to provide new linens but we changed them ourselves. as if that wasn't bad enough, we should have checked the towels in the bathroom. once my shower was complete, I went to use a "fresh" towel only to find out that was dirty too. This hotel is absolutely horrible. The entire building leans to the east so you constantly felt that you were on an angle. I would never stay here or anywhere like it again. frankly, I think you should never list it on your site. I have attached a compilation of pictures.

This was a reasonably priced property. Breakfast was what was expected. Didn't like that our room was next to " staff's room, which played music loudly until 10 :30 pm. And if the hotel isn't full don't put dogs that may bark near occupied rooms.

I needed a blanket at 2:30 in the morning and there wasn't one. You should have an extra one in the room. You should have someone go through the rooms and detail them. Meaning clean up the little things, like epoxy drips in the bathtub, paint splashes, clean corners that sort of thing.

The Expedia pictures made the place look bright and cheerful, but the day we were there the hallway was dark and felt gloomy; and the room we got was smaller than expected and had some issues - the shower handle was hard to adjust and toilet seat or toilet was a bit loose. Overall it was not worth the price we paid.

Property appears to have some structural issues. Cracks in the walls and bathroom. You can make out the outline of the floor joist above and the floor squeaks when the tenant above walks across the floor.

Nice stay

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was adequate - they even had a waffle maker. The only thing I would change about the room is perhaps eliminate the carpeting.

Overhead light didn't work, bathroom fan didn't work, and no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, beds are old and not very comfortable. For what you have to pay these days you would think they could invest just a little to keep up the property. The outside picnic area is nice.
