Not terrible, but not good

The hotel is outdated with small rooms and few amenities. One of the biggest issues was lack of outlets for charging electronics. Carpet was pretty gross and hallways were dirty. Thankfully, the room was clean and we were able to make it through the one night stay and move on.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, and they allowed smoking right outside of the back door. The extra lock on the room door was broken. The room was clean, except for the cig. smell. The price reflects to facility. It is a good enough place to stay for a night or two. Also, be aware that they lock the front door at 11 pm and they may not answer the bell.

The front desk workers were very nice and quick. However, our room was quite worn with age and use. The bathroom sink was not cleaned, the shower drain was very slow and cluttered the bathroom, and there was no screen on the window.

The most reasonable of properties in Moorhead MN. Room 109 had the lowest toilet I have ever, unfortunately, experienced in 60 years of travel. Room basics were adequate. No hair dryer. Staff was friendly and professional. Reception trainee was sharp. Breakfast was minimal. Good. quiet location on the southern perifery of the city.

Property was dirty in the parking lot, hallway to room smelled of vomit, electrical panels in halls we open and unlatched. We got to the facility and room wouldn’t open with keys. Multiple rooms were missing locks and there was a huge gap under the door out to hallway. Bathroom had hair on the floor. Lobby area was dirty and very outdated.

Waffles rock

For the past year or so, I've stayed at the Bison a few days, every month. It's a very quaint, affordable, and comfortable hotel. I like the location, everything just about, within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The waffles for breakfast everyday is a huge perk!!
