Great location- family and dog friendly

The location is great- just plan on driving if you want anything other than the one dining room they have. A wedding was in there during our stay but the pool bar has a very good menu. $20/day to self park is a little steep to me.

The receptionist, Stephanie threatened to “call the law” on me in front of my two small children for having our dinner at the pool. We were unaware of the ridiculous rule that you can only eat the food that is served at the restaurant on the hotel premise unless you are secluded to your room or have to eat on the sandy beach. We had already ordered our dinner and we’re ready to eat at the pool And ask Stephanie for a little leniency with this especially considering I have two small children and she threatened to call the police on us in front of my kids. We were not bothering anyone or causing a scene. Bill the restaurant owner and the maker of this ridiculous rule came out and immediately gave me an attitude and had the guts to say they pride themselves on customer service…what a joke. Also, they started charging $20 to park in their parking lot. This is not normal considering we are not in the city where parking is limited. It’s very disappointing since I have visited this hotel several times and this has never been a rule and why I continued to go to this hotel because of the good experiences that I’ve had in the past. Needless to say, I will never return and I will tell everybody not to stay here Some food for thought for the hotel owner. You expect people who are staying several nights at your hotel to only eat was on the restaurant menu? I am hoping to hear from the manager to talk about this and will be happy to change this review If we can come to some sort of resolut

This property could be something if the owners really invested in it. It is in a good location and very convenient with an access to the beach with chairs available for guests to use. They had a pool and hot tub, as well as a bar outside. I liked the outside eating option. The downside: it was extremely over-priced for what we got. Our room was dirty. Literally had toenails on the floor still from the previous guest. The shower was dated and frankly horrible. The ceiling in there was falling apart and there was what looked like drops of blood on the walls in the room and near the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower clearly had the orange bacteria around the drain from not being cleaned well. The balcony was also just frankly dirty and kind of dingy. Both the room and balcony need repainted. Another incredibly annoying thing was that they hosted a wedding so the kitchen was not available to guests at all. I was really looking forward to using this amenity as we were exhausted from traveling & this trip was for my birthday. We ordered from the tiki bar and luckily that was really good. I was really looking forward to ordering breakfast there in the morning because the menu looked great but they only offered a ridiculously over-priced “breakfast buffet” that was $20 per person. This is insane - what they were offering was no different than any other hotel. They nickel and dime you here. $20 something for parking in a very basic parking lot with no ballet. Wouldn’t recommend.

We were not happy about having to pay an extra $20. for each night of stay. That added an extra $80. We booked through Expedia, which says “All taxes and fees included. We were told even employees had to pay to park. We spent one night in the first room on a mattress with a huge debit in it. We were offered another room which was some better . Pool was filthy and had algae and hot tub jets weren’t working, full of sand. Overall hotel was not a good experience.

Booked through Expedia and didn't see anything about a "parking fee" which is over $20 per night! There's no alternative parking, so I was forced to pay. The hotel felt pretty old and needed updates. The bed was about as bad as the reviews pointed out. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but it was always crowded. Bar/pool were cool. Gym was just a treadmill and some dumbbells. The location and beach front rooms are the clear selling point and make up for outdated rooms, tvs, decor, bathrooms. Balcony view was incredible though. Room cards don't work well. Had to get both keys switched out.

Carlos (front desk) and Fred (A/C repair) were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed. Everything including the beach was convenient. Parking was easy. Carts to help with luggage were available. This was a very enjoyable stay. Note: the breakfast buffet may seem eslightly xpensive, but it is a good deal compared to other places to eat in the area.
