The pool had mustard algea. The coffee was empty at 730 am the one time i go during the stay and no one at desk, just a post it note.

There was nobody at the desk when I arrived and I waited quite a while. I was just dialing the phone to call when someone came from out back. Each time I walked through the lobby the desk was unattended. No hot beverage available in the room. Room was clean enough but obvious wear and tear. Parking lot was not safe to walk, cracks and uneven terrain.

The staff here are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary toiletries are very nice. The place needs quite a bit of updating in general but specifically in the rooms and hallways. It’s was a bit damp everywhere and you could smell it until we turned on the very old AC and then it dried it out. Oh and the phone and alarm clock in our room were basically just props and didn’t work and the carpets need some deep cleaning. The location is excellent and right across from the Village and conveniently next to a Diner and gas station as well as right off of 95. So that’s really the selling point of this Motel. I’m not sure if I would repeat a stay here though.

This is not a luxury resort which is perfectly fine. Good place to lay your head at night. Charming diner attached to building. Why would you complain about not getting day old pastry in the morning when you could get a variety of things in a spacious restaurant. Some people will complain about anything. Good water pressure, nice pillows. Balconies overlooking the parking lot. Manage your expectations and you’ll be fine.

Good location for accessing downtown Mystic. The check in process was easy. The rooms were quiet and I had a good nights sleep. That being said, everything is pretty dirty. Not just dated. The carpet is dirty throughout place. The entrance is unkempt. The bathroom floor was sticky. The tub was dirty.

Decent hotel

I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews about this hotel - it is perfectly fine! It is a budget hotel which obviously needs some renovation, but it is comfortable, clean and the staff are friendly. We stayed in room 109.

Convenient and safe not only OK

The staff was great, but the hotel is showing its age. Many things in the room were missing (coffee maker, hair dryer) or broken (lampshade, bathtub). Cleanliness needs attention as well. It is easy on/easy off the highway and is near some nice destinations (Olde Mystic Village & the aquarium).

We give 4 I did make the beds ,,, clean the room.

Front desk very nice people ,, when we got to the room the bed not done and dirty . They change our room. Next room was ok. I have work few year. At hotels I have a lot experience .. I think they have to do little better the rooms …the pool. Always have a vacuum inside. No breakfast …. But they have a dinner you can’t walk. Everything is just right there we love. .
