Convenient location, close to restaurants and shopping. Nice spot on the beach. Had a nice trip. No issues at all. The popcorn and cookies were a treat for the kids. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. So glad the hotel has a no smoking policy because if someone is out on their balcony smoking and you are on your balcony you could smell it and it would definitely be a nuisance.

The stay was very pleasant.The front desk staff was so accommodating and very friendly and the manager is outstanding. The lady doing the breakfast in the morning was very nice as well, and the breakfast was very good, so much to choose from! Our room vaw very nice, pool side is the way to go.....the best of both worlds because we could see the ocean as well.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. The rooms are very clean and most offer beautiful views of the ocean. Great place for couples, singles or families.

Just "WOW", what luxury at a bargain!

From the moment I walked into the lobby I was impressed by the cleanliness and atmosphere. The receptionist was very friendly. Check-in was quick and easy! Our room was beyond what I expected from the pictures. It was very clean and for the price, I would even say it was luxurious. I know I may sound over-impressed, but for the cost (about $130 a night for a 3-night stay) I was highly impressed. We booked the King Honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi. If there was a negative it would be that the jacuzzi was a little small. We had both an oceanfront and pier view. The bed was comfortable and linens smooth. There were plenty of pillows and extra in the closet. Housekeeping tidied up each day. There breakfast was more like a buffet with both hot foods as well as the usual continental type fare. They even offered hot cookies at 8pm with popcorn! We are seasoned travelers who often take weekend getaways, and this was by far the best value we have ever had. Would HIGHLY suggest for a great stay at an affordable price with the "extras" that make you feel spoiled!

Loved having view of ocean and the sound. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The amenities were fantastic, from the delicious hot breakfast, the wine and cheese hour in the evening, having coffee all day in the lobby, down to the chocolate chip cookies at night. We really can’t think of anything negative to say about this great little hotel. Hope to come back!

We love Surfside hotel! It has the beach vibe of a a real “Beach Hotel.” Love the location and easily walk to JENNETTE pier and restaurants. The view and path to the beach are both excellent. The Thank you so much Surfside Hotel.

Good stay but concerns

It was a good stay, friendly staff, great views and next to the water but the only concern was that there were cockroaches in the room. We ate a banana during the evening and put the banana peel in the trash can and next morning there were several small cockroaches in the trash bin.
