Entering the room was magical itself. I was welcomed with such an elegant suite styled with the opulence of the 1800s. The paintings, furniture, and design transported me to a completely different time. I really enjoyed my stay and would have stayed much much much longer if I could.

The Napa River Inn is located by the river and in the downtown area. It is an old repurposed mill and it’s absolutely lovely. The garden surrounding the hotel are well managed and gives you a feeling of being close to nature. Hummingbirds abound as do pomegranate plants Nearby there is the waterfront restaurant which I highly recommend and the bakery called sweetie’s The rooms are very clean. The beds are extremely comfy, and I loved how the bathrooms were done in marble.

Spacious room, extremely comfortable bed! Very clean room, house keeping wonderful at tidying up the room! My only “cons” are poor water pressure in shower, and very musty odor in hallway area of the Embarcadero building that we stayed in. But all else was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

It was very clean, comfortable and walkable to downtown Napa. It also has several restaurants and bars next to or attached to it. Perfect for what we were looking for!

This hotel was within easy walking distance of downtown with all the restaurants and shopping close by. We even walked to the Napa Wine Train. Would definitely stay here again
