Pictures are deceiving. The hotel is old and had an old musty, mildewing smell to it. Our room was not the cleanest. We couldn’t keep the temperature controlled. It went from being stifling hot to frigid. We could not find/get a happy medium. At all hours we could hear people in their rooms or in the halls yelling, fighting, and cussing. We had one random person bang on our door. Their cocktail hour left much to be desired. The appetizers were….. interesting. Breakfast was okay for being free. I stick with packaged items after tasting the eggs and sausage. The staff were friendly. I will give them that. But definitely much room for improvement in other areas.

Clean and nicely maintained. The breakfast had many options - eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, make your own waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc and the evening happy hour includes 2 drinks/adult each day of your stay, along with light snacks (nachos). As mentioned in other reviews, there is a problem with doors slamming loudly throughout the day and night. Mgmt should make some adjustment to the doors so they don't slam. It was loud enough to awaken us.

Their attention to details was amazing. Nice soaps & toiletries in the bathroom. A free drink & appetizers from 5-7pm in the breakfast area. Breakfast options were super. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Property was in a good location. Shuttle is a bit pricy if you are willing to drive downtown. Park at the public library parking garage for $20 all day just a block away from where they pickup/dropoff! The halls smelled of smoke and seemed musty. Thus, I left congested needing some fresh air anywhere but inside. The patio door did not lock at all. The staff was always in a great mood and provided a wonderful environment! Breakfast and cocktail hour in the evening were great! Could have been a nicer facility overall though!
