Nice place not too far

This is a nice hotel with free parking and clean. It is out of the way, quiet and clean. It has a pool, a workout room, laundry, a restaurant right next door. About a 15 minute drive back into town.

The place overall was at a great location where everything is close by. People were nice and friendly. The only thing that was a concern was that I found old blood stains on my bed sheets and the cleaning lady tried to come in while we were sleeping other than that everything went well.

Entire hotel was out of liquid soap

On the second day of the trip, the soap dispenser ran out. I had another guest ask housekeeping, who was across the hall to please give me a bottle as I was in the shower, at the time. Housekeeping told them the entire hotel was out of soap. Wth? Seriously??! I was beyond upset I personally do not use bar soap that other guest (in my room) use when I shower. Just a personal preference. Well, I had to break that rule and it was unnecessary. I reported it to the front desk later that night and the “dry” desk clerk robotically starts telling me that I should have come to the desk and put in a request. I asked does your housekeeper know this because they sure didn’t relay that to my guest. Instead they told them the entire hotel was out of soap. She repeated herself. Welp, I knew it was time to go. We left a few hours later, checked out early as that’s not good customer service at all. Would not recommend staying unless you enjoy dry and dishonest answers to basic questions. Housekeeping and that desk clerk receive a -10 rating.
