To begin with, Vacasa wasn’t there when we were supposed to check in. Phone number posted went to a recording, offering to either hold or text for assistance. We waited for someone to show but nobody ever did. While I was texting with Vacasa about the issue, I noticed an unlocked lock box and found the check-in envelope inside. Vacasa had previously told us to wait until someone showed up so I’m glad I figured it out on my own. We had the envelope and left before someone messaged me back with instructions. The unit itself was spacious and welcoming. The view was absolutely lovely and the location was ideal. The condo smelled freshly cleaned and everything appeared orderly. Andy D’s was great.The moment someone used the restroom, we realized there was no hand soap in the entire unit. Back to texting a stranger from Vacasa to address to issue and someone eventually dropped off one bottle. It was several hours later and we were expected to use this one bottle for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen.Next issue was on our 2nd night there. There was either a cleaning crew or a poltergeist in the unit above us from after 11pm until about 4am. Vacasa had no answers or solution to the noise complaint. Needless to say, everyone’s sleep was disrupted, including our child’s. After being kept up all night by the sounds of someone (or something) dragging furniture and walking constantly above our heads, I noticed the bathroom floors were actually dirty and the bathtub faucet was moldy.
