Room was good size. The staff went above and beyond. They’re all so friendly and very helpful. I was so impressed with everyone they always had a smile and they were always willing to help me. Breakfast waffles were perfect.

Great stay at a reasonable price

From check-in through check-out, everything was seamless. Very comfortable beds and the room was very clean. Great breakfast including hot eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, biscuits, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, etc. During check-in, Kelly was very friendly and engaging and offered good advice on local restaurants. Lannette took care of the breakfast items and was also very friendly and engaging. Great customer service! I would strongly recommend.

Some good, some not so much

The floor, specially by the door was dirty to the point i didn't want to walk atound with no shoes on. Our room smelled like it used to be a "smoking" room previously. The "blackout curtains" leave much to be desired as they don't serve their intended purpose. The tv was hard to figure out since a guide was not provided. The pillows and bedding were nice as well as towels. Front desk personnel was super friendly and helpful as was the breakfast attendant. Eggs and biscuits were super processed and hard though. Waffles, coffee and fruit were nice. Being one of the cheapest places around, would choose again for a quick spur of the moment stay.

Upon arrival, the hotel front desk staff were rude. We had completed online check-in and were still required to give all the information again, apparently it is this hotel managers policy. When asking simple questions he just could not have been more rude, acting like we were an inconvenience to him. The room was okay, very small, bed was terrible, not comfortable at all and small. But was pretty clean, except the towels had black hairs all over them.

Steer clear

The reviews were misleading. The lobby smelled of marijuana. Then the hallways were absolutely disgusting. I'm not sure they have a vacuum. The room door had holes in it, very outdated, shower curtain had mold. For the price I was shocked. Very disappointed. Breakfast was decent the breakfast attendant was nice. Spent two long nights here, do not recommend.

Save your money go somewhere else.

The front desk staff was wonderful, the breakfast the next day was great! The best part of my stay was the staff. The corridor that my room was located was filthy, trash on the floor, the bed in my room was lumpy as if the mattress coils were about to come through. When I investigated the mattress, it was stained and very yellow. The pillows were like sofa pillows. The room was terrible. I will not stay at another Microtel Inn again based on this experience.

Wow what a great stay at a very affordable price point! The two gentlemen at the desk the night of 3/14 were so polite, organized, and friendly and had our group to our five rooms in no time. They were then very helpful with restaurant suggestions for good seafood. The breakfast was also very good and the attendant the morning of 3/15 was on point and very helpful with suggesting food options. This hotel truly has a great staff. I will be back! Thank you.
