I really hate to leave a bad review for a place, but just be aware: The room was adequate, the door locked, but beyond that it was a pretty miserable stay. Lumpy pillows, creaky mattress, lights didn't work well, and there were baby roaches running around all over the bathroom. At first I thought they were confused ants, but no. I'm grateful to not have encountered an adult member of the family, but totally unacceptable level of uncleanliness.

Good value in a great location

E-Z8 is a solid, no-frills, two-star property in an excellent location at good value rates. Their WiFi is an extra $6/day so use your own hotspot if you have one. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner too. The rooms have refrigerators but no microwave (one is available for the whole property in the laundry room.) The TVs are small with limited channels, but the rooms are quiet. It’s been an excellent commuter rental for me.

Dead Roach, Broken Smoke Detector, Worn Furniture

Upon initial checking room appeared to be fine. Later noticed smoke detector was on the table with no battery. When maintenance came for another issue, I showed it to him. He shrugged his shoulders & walked out. During my 3 nights, never returned. Last night, I discovered a dead roach on a shelf that has brown spots. Bedding, room, walls were clean. Door needs painting & furniture extremely worn. No free WiFi 😒

Poor maintenance & Lack of Services & a PLUS

Shower handle came off in my hand. Luckily, I had a screwdriver in my backpack to repair. Otherwise, I'd have to get dress, walk around to the front desk as their are no phones in the room, though they advertise (I would of been late for my appointment). TV selections are poor. No guide or local channels for news. Thank God for personal devices. Rooms are painted nicely, but door & furniture looks beaten & worn.

Terrible Hotels

As usual the hotel had roaches not as many as before but still had them. The inside of the refrigerator was rusted and had tape taped at the bottom I guess to keep it closed. The walk in shower floor was dirty. The sheets had black lent on it and the pillows looked like someone had already slept on them. As I laid in both beds because they had no singles it felt like something was biting on me most likely bed bugs although I couldn't see them I believe thats what the many mini stings on my body occuring through the night was. The vents were covered with dirt and lent I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. The only reason I stayed here yet again because I had nowhere to go and it was the cheapest place around. I should have just paid the extra twenty dollars and went to a different hotel
