My flight got delayed and we never made it to norfolk. Both myself and expedia tried to contact tjr hotel to see if we could work something out, but we couldnt get in touch with someone. I kept getting sent emails about my reservation, including about checking out even though I never checked in. After reading recent google reviews, it seems like I dodged a bullet there, but I also paid $131 for this dump I didnt even get to sleep at.

It was a smoking Room So I didn’t expect for it to look like a Non smoking Room would, but there were Stains on the wall and roof , quite Dusty and the Bathroom was Dirty, Rusted fixtures like the Toilet Paper Holder . Overall though it’s a decent Place bed was Comfortable no sink holes , the bedding was Clean the Towels and Rags were too . Staff is also Accommodating and Friendly and they Speak , just need a few upgrades and they’ll be Good .

DO NOT STAY HERE

We were sent to the wrong room originally as someone was staying in the room we were assigned. When we did get to our room it was filthy, urine stains from the previous person, dirt and dust everywhere, the TV was unplugged, no one had swept behind the dresser in what looked like months. There was also hair scattered around the room.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room we were put in had clearly not been cleaned and was full of black mold. It was really disgusting. My husband asked to be moved and they let him look at several to find one that was acceptable. The least objectionable was still moldy, though not as bad. The “amenities” are also terrible. Sure, there is wi-fi, but it’s so slow it’s basically useless. They also offer “breakfast “—various prepackaged pastries and granola bars. Also, they never cleaned the room, even though we asked them to.
