Place looks good from the outside and make you want to come, I've always wanted to stay here but I ended up completely disappointed. Bathroom is not clean as it should be, all night you can hear the noise from the highway, and No AC all night, I end up with a Fan.... What it was supposed to be amaizing experience and rest night end it up a nightmare.

I had to call management twice about the air conditioning not working properly. I was moved to another room in the middle of the night because of the air not working in our first room. If you want a quiet room don't book a room at this hotel i had to listen to " back that azz up" at 10:30 at night coming from a party downstairs the wall are so thin . I also asked the front desk for a iron to be sent to my room i never received it. i went around town wrinkled because i never received the iron.Hallway reeked of weed.

The room was the best part of the hotel, although this hotel was listed as VIP, which should’ve been eligible for certain perks and upgrades we were offered none. We were told we would have to pay for room upgrade. And also were charged for a 1 hour later check out. So I Don’t think this should be listed as a VIP property. The pool is much smaller than it looks in photos and it is not heated.

I'm originally from Nyack, & love the town. Since there are no other hotels in the town -- strangely -- & I don't like the nearest motels, I've stayed at Hotel Nyack twice when visiting. Sadly, its architecture makes it VERY, very noisy. VERY. Any noise in an adjacent area, hallway or room echoes loudly. In addition, when I booked for the weekend of my 50th high school reunion, (at a nearby venue), no one told me other high schools would be having theirs actually IN the hotel. Consequently, it was "party central" in the hotel. I have rarely in my adult life (of traveling the world & staying in MANY places), ever had to bang on the wall at midnight to tell the nextdoor people to turn their music down. AND I banged on the wall because the room phone didn't work!! Literally. When I arrived initially the front desk gave me a "goody bag". Turned out it wasn't for our reunion! (I returned it.) And then: When I arrived at my room after checking in, the door of my room was ajar. As a woman traveling alone, I called the housekeeping staff right away to check the room over, feeling very uneasy. The staff came to discover that the connecting door to the room next door was also unlocked!! Honestly, I couldn't believe this all in a Hyatt Hotel. Sadly, I guess I won't be staying at Hotel Nyack again, nor will I recommend it.

Atmosphere was great, food was good, attentive staff. Tyler Vanderbilt it's an amazing host! Always polite, he is focused on tasks at hand, and an excellent leader. Watching his interaction with guests and his interaction with other staff members made me joyful to see someone who takes pride in their responsibilities!

The hotel is nice and rooms a big but they are also really dark. There’s not outlets by the nighttable and the ac unit in our room was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. We called to have someone come to take a look and no one ever showed up. We ended up turning the ac off but the unit continued to make noises the whole night.

I liked the artsy decor. My room view was an amazing cemetery. Staff were helpful. Room size good. I hadn't opted for breakfast, but got a discount. It was yummy. Location is near downtown and right on the freeway, making it easy to go to my next destination.
