Disliked: Cleanliness
My family has stayed at the wharf several times now and this rental felt short of our expectations. Firstly, we had a nat/fruit fly issue. All 5 days we stayed, we found them in the rooms, closets, bathrooms, kitchen etc. The unit itself is in need of major TLC. There is a floor board in the kitchen that is sticking up and most definitely a safety hazard. The TV in the master bedroom does not work and the rest of the tvs in the unit are outdated. All of the furniture has seen better days. It seems like second hand furniture you’d find at a garage sale- just being completely honest. No adults in our party could sit at the kitchen table because the seats were very uncomfortable and felt like you would fall through. The “nightstand” in the primary bedroom is thin plywood resembling cardboard with a table cloth over it. Several of the rooms have psi missing or scuff marks on the walls. There are stains all over the cover on the couch. The patio looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Layers of dust and spills all around the ground. I felt embarrassed to have guests over. (See photos)On a positive note- Beach getaways was helpful finding a package I had delivered and check in and checkout were smooth. The unit was spacious but due to the state of the furniture and lack on cleanliness, we will look for other units in the future.
