At one of the entrance doors there was a lot of trash. The trash lying around seemed like a potentially homless person or someone who had been kicked out of the property.

Didn’t stay because they wouldn’t take my business credit card upon check in do to a new policy. I used this card to book the hotel online with no problem. Now trying to get a refund. The outside of this place looks terrible. They could at least cut the weeds and fix the siding.

The hotel was decent for a one-night transit stay on our way to Pictured Rocks. Breakfast was good—both in terms of quality and quantity—with no complaints there. However, there are two areas that need improvement: 1. Check-in Experience: After a long drive, we expected a warm and efficient check-in. Unfortunately, the front desk attendant kept us waiting for several minutes while he was on a phone call. What was more disappointing was the lack of acknowledgment or apology for the delay. 2. Room Setup: The beds seemed smaller than expected—likely twin beds instead of queens—which made sleeping arrangements a bit cramped. Additionally, the room was stocked with only three towels, despite being booked for four guests. Aside from these issues, it was a comfortable and satisfactory stay overall.

Staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful! Didn't love that the only options for rooms were 1 king or 2 double-beds. No elevator made getting all of our luggage to the 2nd floor a challenge.

The people at the hotel were nice. The lady getting breakfast ready every morning was super awesome! Breakfast options were great. Our room was peaceful & the beds were comfortable. The smell in parts of the hallways was a really bad odor (like hold ur breath bad) & tile by the ice machine was broken. The parking lot is a bit rough as well. For the price I paid I did get a good value & probably would stay again.
