Older hotel

We stayed 2 nights. Hotel was clean but run down. Probably built in 80s and it shows. 1 elevator on far end. Stairwells and halls were not air conditioned- windows were open and there were replacement AC units in boxes waiting to be installed. AC unit in room worked ok. Bathrooms were partially updated at some point but wasn’t well done, grout in floor tile 25% gone. Bathroom was small, shower surround had stains, shower curtain was clean but very worn, slight musty smell. Bathroom door lock was finicky, adult daughter was locked in for 10 min before she was able to get it to open. Carpet in room had permanent stains but clean otherwise. Beds and pillows were older. Neighbor’s room door did not latch, had to get new room. Breakfast area was small. Mostly carb options. There were ants in the breakfast area. Pool was open. Hot tub was not. Looked like it hadn’t been open for a long time. Staff was friendly and we’re doing what they could with what they had.

Motel is adequate for overnight stays. It is a bit dated and needs a remodel and brought up to current standards for electrical outlets and such. Bathroom is very small. This motel is about the best Morris has to offer other than the very expensive Holiday Inn Express, which is fairly new. Breakfast is minimal but OK.

This motel is one of the better motels in Morris, It is adequate, but dated and has needed remodeling and updating for years. The price is very competitive and much cheaper than the HI Express, which is the newest motel in Morris.

I get to the hotel. And they have my room away and sent me to a so called sister location. A quality inn with a pub attached. It was already very late the music so loud you can’t even hear anything and the place is not very good quality plus they charge me double the normal rate because things were booked up. Horrible experience.

There are 4 hotels listed on Expedia for Morris. Thos was the highest priced one. We only chose it because Comfort Inns are usually decent, and because it had a hot tub. It was closed. It has been closed for years, apparently. Stop claiming you have one and take the picture down that shows it! Side hall door to parking lot has a broken lock, so building is unsecure. We waited 20 min at the front dest for staff to greet us and check us in. The bathroom had holes in the walls where basic amenities used to be. If you arrive after 10pm, hopefully you're not hungry. NOTHING is open. We asked the front desk. She gave us 3 places...which were all closed. Thanks for the help. You get better quality for the same price at the Holiday Inn Express next door. Otherwise, spend half the money and stay at the Quality Inn or Days Inn next door...you'll get the same experience as this hotel and save some money.

Needs updated.

Very friendly, however the property is in need of much needed updates. Our room had a very musty smell. The BR had cracks and the tub faucet leaked. The beds were comfortable, just disappointed in the overall appearance of the room.

When we got there, we were told the pool and the hot tub were closed. When we walked to our room, the pool was open but the hot tub wasn't. Our bathroom had paint peeling off the wall and the side of the bathtub/shower had a big piece of white duct tape on the side.
