Fine for an overnight stay.

Pros: Ease of return to airport.
Cons: Why is the loo roll holder so far away from the toilet? You just wouldn't.
Location: Not the best part of the city - but great for transport links.
Most said before, it's fine, it's conveniently placed for popping into the nice parts of the city and also transport back to airport. One or two odd design decisions in the room - overall feels quite dark. Clean, comfy bed and very good price. Lovely staff. Bus back to airport just across the road.

Mixed experience - don't stay more than 2 nights

Pros: Friendly staff and quality of breakfast
Cons: Provide somewhere that guests can sit outside in the summer afternoons and early evenings in the shade/. Put a smaller bed in room 1704 immediately.
Location: Right next to the underground 'intermodal' train station bus and subway - a 10 minute walk into the heart of the old town
The first room we were given was narrow and had such a long bed that there was a 30cm gap to reach the bathroom - at least we are both fairly slim! We were moved to a small suite after that first night, which had a different quirky layout, but at least had easy access to the bathroom. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel, and no 'working' terrace where one can sit in the shade and drink a coke - the terrace is a vacant space with wooden decking on the roof, with no means of access that we could see. There is room service until 10:30pm however they cannot deliver tea or coffee to your room, and there is no Starbucks or similar anywhere nearby. There are plenty of bars in the square that serve good coffee thank goodness, however it's nice to spend one or two evenings in one's hotel. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was consistently good. Overall, this hotel is suffering from serious under-investment. Had I not paid in advance to save a little money, we would have moved after 2 nights. And the price I did pay was far to expensive for the facilities - it's simply not a 4 star city hotel.

don't get superior room

Decided to upgrade to superior but were disappointed. Bathroom was large but in bedroom the bed was in the middle of the room with trip hazard aerial attached to TV. Room was not clean and dark and dingy. Wouldn't stay again

Very nice hotel and friendly staff

Found this hotel much better than the reviews gave the impression. Staff were friendly and professional. Hotel is very nice & quality of the rooms are very good. Location is great for exploring the city, everything is only a short walk away. Breakfast was lovely

THE PERFECT HOTEL IN PALMA DE MALLORCA.

We had a great staying at Palacio Avenida Hotel. Location is perfect, in Palma city center near everything you are looking for in the city. Staff is great, very helpful about anything you need. About Rooms, they are very comfortable and spacious. When we come back to Mallorca, we definitely will stay at Palacio Avenida Hotel.

Ok for single night stay

Only a single night stay at beginning of holiday on island. disappointing the bar was closed for renovation, only told on arrival after long trip, a drink would have been good.

Perfect Hotel for a city break

We were in Palma for 4 days, 3 nights & cannot fault the hotel. The location is perfect, opposite the bus stops, 3 mins from the train station & in close proximity to a lot of fast food places. The hotel staff were wonderful, very accommodating. They arranged an early check-in for us and all of our requests were met. There was a good selection at breakfast and it didn't finish until 11am, so you can have a lie-in. The room was very contemporary, small, but the space was used well. Our room over looked the park/main square. I would definitely stay here again, if they considered a building a swimming pool, it would be perfect.

Sehr nettes Personal, Lorenzo an der Reception sehr hilfsbereit. Wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet. Immer wieder frisch aufgefüllt. Zimmer ruhig dank guten Fenstern. Lage super. Nähe Flughafenbus, lokale Busse, Zentrum. Leider sehr verschmutzte Teppiche im Korridor und Zimmer. Badezimmeraparaturen verkalkt. Dunkle, unfreundliche Korridore. Keine Bar am Abend.
