We were not allowed the room we booked due to them having over half the site closed for renovation. We booked a room to accommodate 6 and the biggest they offered upon arrival was big enough to accommodate 4 causing the last part of our party to not attend. The attendant was not easy to understand either. However she did let us check in early with no extra cost, it is right on the beach with couple access to the beach and they give coupon for kids to eat free at Sharkys restaurant there on property.

The room was clean and the staff members were very kind and courteous. We were sent down to the Reef, which we love, while Seahaven was undergoing renovations. We stayed there at Thanksgiving, also. The only problem we had, both times, was the lack of hot water in the shower. The sink water was hot but neither of us would fit in the sink to take a bath. Didn't care for a lukewarm bath.

The room was older. However, it was spacious with a kitchen and a nice size bathroom. We opened the back door and were 30 steps from the beach. Wonderful stay! Will return.

No hot water during our stay, said the suite I booked at the sister hotel was shut down moved me to the reef which was a tiny one room with two beds and called it an “upgrade” but the reef was the closed and the hotel I booked is where I actually had to check in and walk to the reef. Made no sense at all. Won’t book here again.

Not the greatest weekend to be there. Extremely noisy due to some Biker Event. Room was meh, floor was scratched up and scribbled on. Doors were hard to open especially the balcony door. After reading reviews we did spray with bug spray.
