At once both scenic and convenient, this townhome at Trailside Court is a wonderful home base for exploring Park City in any season. You'll be right alongside the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail and three blocks from a stop for the free city shuttle bus, with a private hot tub waiting to welcome you home each day.

This three-level home is spacious and inviting, with a main living space that brings together the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room. After a day spent skiing Park City Mountain, attending the Sundance Film Festival, or perusing the shops and galleries on Main Street (all are just two miles southwest), you can curl up on leather furnishings, flip on the gas fireplace, and scroll through the cable offerings on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV. The adjacent kitchen features stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) and an island with bar seats for two, while the dining room table seats six in the light of the window. Just outside the back door are a private hot tub and a gas grill on the patio.

At night, you'll find that each of the three bedrooms - two on the main floor and a primary suite with a balcony upstairs - has its own flatscreen TV. Additional amenities include a private laundry room, central air conditioning, and free high-speed WiFi throughout the house.

Details

Overall location and layout was perfectly fine with room in garage for 2 SUVs. Hot tub with feeling of hillside seclusion in back a nice touch, and there were plenty of clean towels, etc., and the price seemed fair relative to the market -- BUT several small yet annoying problems. Door from garage into mudroom stuck shut and not fixed until the day we left. Doors to bathrooms and bedrooms didn't close or lock properly and toddler kept getting into toilet. Kitchen garbage can not tall enough. Toddler could easily get into it if we didn't raise it and we had to take garbage out probably twice as much as should have been necessary. Lower rack on dishwasher missing a wheel and keeps coming off track. And there was no instruction manual on the place such as how to operate the entertainment system, hot tub, appliances or where to take out the trash or how to catch the bus, etc. You have to figure all that out yourself -- none of which was overly difficult, but we've always appreciated places which leave such info at the guests' finger tips so they don't have to spend time researching it.

Great place!

Loved our stay here! The hot tub was great and the communication for everything was very clear and easy. There is a fully stocked kitchen except for a few essentials like a baking dish or cookie sheet for brownies and cookies and there were not enough towels for our group. But overall we had a great time!
