This hotel is a must stay it has so much history and the elevator is so awesome it’s a piece of history! The staff is amazing and so friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel ! The only negative is there is no air conditioning but they will give you a powerful fan for your room and the windows open to let fresh air in ! If you are traveling thru the area please stay here !

We loved the Cary House. It's an old historic hotel, gorgeous lobby, furnished with period furniture, and an amazing old elevator. If you're into more modern and up to date furnishings and rooms, stay somewhere else. The people that work here are awesome. We'll be going back!

Parking is a little restricted, they have a back lot that you can stay in for free, but it’s a city lot with businesses so it can fill up during the day and then you have to go farther away to get parking. The hotel itself is great! clean room, a little worn but it’s really old in a very cool way. Lobby is fantastic. Help was really good, No complaints.

It is an old property, which has its charm. Having said that - the property was in a better than what I expected. Highlight was the friendly staff. Carly the night Manager was very helpful and lent me her phone charger. Only downside was that I could hear creaking noises whole night and couldn't sleep well. The suite had all the basic amenities.

It was warm hot but property hadn’t switched over to AC so was given a standing fan. Incomplete set up in kitchen. Had to ask for bowl and spoon, which staff was able to find. Charming property. Next time, will try to get a room that faces street. Great, helpful, knowledgeable front desk staff.
