The room lacked basic amenities we would expect at that price such as a coffee maker, bed lamps, and a vanity in the bathroom. The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at the Lava Hot Springs Motel several times over the past four years and this stay will be the last. The bath tub was dirty, there was an ant trap on the floor and the towel bar was hanging out of the wall. The walls were also dirty and in need of paint. The veneer on the head board was coming off and all the furniture was well used and appears to have been purchased at a garage sale. It was a neat spot, but sadly, it's no longer cared for.

I have been coming to this motel for over 20 years and I just wish they would do some improvements! Anything would help! The best thing about the place is that it is across the street from the Hot Springs.
