The Red Lion was great. Rooms are freshly remodeled. Very clean and the view was great. There is a restaurant at the property. Good food and great service. There was a live singer playing his songs and doing song requests as well. Definitely would stay again.

This hotel is way too expensive for what you get! The building is nicely situated along the water, however, the room wasn’t worth what I paid. They parking lot is so jammed and packed we had to inch our vehicle out of the spot, so if you drive anything over compact plan to park a ways away. We stayed on the ground floor and the floor was slanted in our room. It was so strange. There isn’t anything special about the property other than it’s next to the water.

Scenery is beautiful on the water side of the property. Felt safe there. Bedding was comfortable and heating/AC unit responsive and easy to use. Needed more Body Wash provided; didn't like the projecting ceramic soap dish as I hit my head on it. Attached restaurant was good. Easy for ferry goers to walk to the terminal right from the hotel.

The location was great for our few days in Olympic National Park. The room had a great view of a harbor and nice sunrises. Easy to walk to restaurants in the town and very close to the ferry. The room was okay. The shower water wasn't very hot. But otherwise was great for our needs.

An ok place to stay

Check in took way too long. And I asked for a water facing room and the person checking me in said they had non available. However, I overheard them tell other guests there were water facing room available. Our room had no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. I had to find a room service person because the person working the front desk was busy with other guests. At $200+ per night I did not expect this level of service.

I paid "hotel" prices for a "motel" room. We had to ration toilet paper as they left two nearly empty rolls in the room. I could have gotten the same room for half the price if I knew I was going to be staying on the ghetto side of the property.
