We wanted a hotel near Portland Station and this hotel was convenient for our needs. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The pool was quite large. It was an added bonus to find a Starbucks in the parking lot.

The security of the west tower is none, anyone can walk through the front slidong doors without a key. There were many non paying customers hanging out in the entrance of the West tower when my children and I were trying to get to the room on the 3rd floor. Dofs were barking all.night, the bed wqs dirty you could tell .The West tower definitely needs some renovations. Parking was INSANE, all options were taken, we circled multiple times wastong over a half hour before going into the hotel. We ended up parking in a no parking area as we had no choice.

Great Scrapbook Retreat Spot

Our group loves staying here for a four-day scrapbooking crop. We love the rooms, the space that we have in the crop room, comfort, bar and restaurant and that we can block several rooms at a discount.

We were extremely disappointed with the state of our room, 424. Upon arrival, we found stained and soiled linens on one of the beds. After requesting a remake with clean linens, the fresh linens were simply dropped off in a chair, while the stained ones remained on the bed. Furthermore, the replacement bedding consisted of only two thin tan blankets, with no new comforter provided. Inspection of the second comforter revealed it was also severely stained. Additionally, we found false eyelashes, plastic debris, and a green candy cane on the floor. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we were forced to return to the front desk and request a new room, which we didn't gain access to until after 1 am. Also, what’s with non-guests parking and sleeping in their vehicles on the property?! I had to park far, on the property of the old Cracker Barrel on numerous occasions.

Family friendly , we had a blast here and met other families there during the storm . The staff was super helpful when we lost our son’s hand held gaming device after we left . 2 days later we got a call from Matthew saying they found it and were even willing to accommodate sending it if we were not local. We do live in another state but I drove back as I was grateful they found it . We will stay again , next time we visit . Thank you guys for all that you do as a team at the double tree

It is perfect for a day of shopping and entertainment. Starbucks is almost on the property as well as Chipotle Mexican grill.
