My husband and I were making the long drive from Southern California to Seattle with a 16-foot trailer full of furniture, and we needed a place to stay midway through our trip. After researching hotels with great reviews, fair pricing, and a welcoming feel, I found the Americana Modern Hotel. From the moment I called to ask about trailer parking, the team was kind and accommodating. They confirmed they’d make room for our trailer at no extra cost and reassured me it would be safe overnight. On the day of our stay, I even received a thoughtful text from the hotel checking in on our arrival time and wishing us safe travels. Due to an unexpected highway closure, we didn’t arrive until after midnight, but even that late, the check-in experience was outstanding. The staff greeted us by name, had planned ahead for our trailer, and placed us in a room where we could park it directly outside w/in view and behind a secure gate they offered to open for us in the morning. Knowing the property was monitored by cameras gave us complete peace of mind. The hotel itself is charming, stylish, and clearly cared for. Our room was spotless, beautifully renovated, and comfortable.The bed was perfect, the water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the towels were soft and plush. Little details like outdoor seating, easy parking, and nearby spots like a donut shop and Dutch Bros made it even better. I will absolutely make it a point to stay at the Americana Modern Hotel.

I found the Americana Modern Hotel in Redding overrated compared to its Expedia reviews. The room had very few amenities, the concrete floor looked and felt dirty, and the poor soundproofing meant I could hear guests walking upstairs. Overall, the room felt bland and had a strange vibe. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great place to stay

Such a lovely little place to stay. Quiet, clean, comfortable, conveniently located. There are good breweries and breakfast places all around and it's easy to get to the freeway or out to Whiskeytown Lake. Would love to return!

This was a good place to stay for a family of 5 that is all about budgeting. Spacious, clean, within walking distance from good restaurants & convenience stores. Totally recommend.
