We have stayed here many times. Love the peaceful nature of the property and being right on the Sacramento River. They are constantly doing upgrades to the rooms and landscaping, and it looks wonderful. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean. Will definitely be back.

There were nice grass areas and large pond. Pool area and restaurant were goodm Liked the patio and room. Just could have had a better mattress. (was a bit lumpy) Could be challenging to carry luggage to room if close parking space not available. (I got the laat space that was close).

Food was good but the phones were out so couldn’t order my to go ahead of time and was still out in the morning. Luckily the WiFi did start working again. But the ice machine wasn’t working in the pod I was in so I had to go find ice in another area. Small inconveniences.

We only stayed at the property for about six hours. It was just a stop along the way to go home. But the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the gentleman who greeted us at the front desk was very nice. It was worth the six hours that we spent there.

Great stay!

On the Sacramento River… walk to back of property to view it. Along the way a creek with Lilly pads and Cat tails. Love the ambiance of the property and it’s being worked on still. Dinner at their restaurant was excellent! We had short rib & creamed polenta

Disappointing Stay – Room Was Under Construction We checked in at 10:30 PM after a 5-hour drive, exhausted and just needing rest. Instead, we walked into a room that was clearly under construction — no sink area was incomplete, refrigerator was missing (which we had specifically booked), and unfinished fixtures. Even the staff admitted the room shouldn’t have been rented out. We paid $130 and were handed a $15 breakfast coupon as compensation. That felt like a slap in the face. While the hotel premises were clean and generally well-kept, that does not make up for the fact that we were placed in a non-functional room. This was not the level of care or service we expected. I hope the management takes better responsibility in the future to ensure that only ready and properly equipped rooms are offered to guests.Totally unfair and disappointing.
