Our room was clean, but had a strange, unpleasant, vinegar odor upon entry. By day 2 the odor was gone. The food in the restaurant was very good! They should do something about the swinging kitchen door though, it makes a farting sound when staff passes through (funny at first, but then becomes very distracting). Unfortunately, this hotel is close to the Train-tracks and the train blows the horn as it passes by 3+ times every night!! The staff at this hotel are all very friendly and accommodating. I would probably stay here again if it weren’t for the train horn.

We’ve stayed here before. Staff is VERY friendly. Overnight stay on road trip so we can gamble a little. Whole casino allows smoking so it just stinks so bad. Husband loves poker. Not many places have poker rooms open anymore. This casino JUST converted to all automated tables and dealers in the actual poker room. This scares off the “old school” poker players, so unfortunately our stay did not allow my husband his poker. Couldn’t get enough players to do the tournaments cause of the new tables. We canceled staying here on trip back due to poker room challenge and cigarette smell. Too bad about both, because we’d like to stay for casino if it weren’t for both of those CONS. Rooms are clean and spacious and if your on 3rd floor you barely smell the cigarettes from the casino. Grounds are surrounded by homeless, casino does OK job keeping them from entering casino property to the best of thier ability. We didn’t feel unsafe or anything and even left suitcases in our car overnight without any issue.

Hotel at the Win River Casino. Hotel is non smoking but lobby still has cigarette smoke smell. The staff is great. Luggage carts available and elevator for easy room access. Restaurant in the Casino served a nice breakfast. Lots of parking.

Good stay small issues

What stood out to us the bed make up was not good, the pillows were too hard, they didn’t refill the coffee and cups the 4 nights we stayed. Staff excellent and when I had an issue they fixed it without any problem. The room could use a deep cleaning.

do research!

I booked a handicap accessible room, the springs on the bathroom door were so tight and the door so heavy that I had trouble opening it. I had to put my suitcase in front of the door open. I went to Redding for a family emergency, I wish I had done better research, no microwave in room and they did not serve breakfast. I only picked the Win-River because of the easy directions, less traffic and proximity to the hospital. Super 8 on Churn Creek would have been cheaper and just as easy.
