Outside of building poor

Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel needs an overhaul on outside and inside decoration wise.
We had booked a superior room and when we arrived was a bit wary when we saw the outside of the hotel it was very run down. On the way up to the room the carpet and surroundings was very dated but was pleasantly surprised by the room it was a corner room no 206 for anybody that may be booking there,Bathroom was a bit tight but clean. Great location for bus tours and pickups just round the corner. Breakfast was good except for staff who were a bit sullen.They run out of English teabags and when I asked for more they said they were finished. Luckily from past experience abroad we had taken our own.It was very expensive to eat in Iceland there is a supermarket right opposite the hotel and an excellent Thai place called Mai Thai there as well. Food very good.

It’s ok

The staff are very good, but the facilities wasn’t. We got a room with no toilet/bathroom inside, it was next door that looks like we were on hostel. Doesn’t look like the same room from the pictures when we booked the room.

Ihan ok majoitus. Plussaa sijainnista, avuliaasta henkilökunnasta sekä mini jääkaapista (koska hotelli ei tarjoa aamupalaa!). Miinusta tulee siitä että huoneessa ei ollut ilmanvaihtoa ollenkaan, ei yövaloja, huone oli melko meluisa ja wc oli huoneen ulkopuolella. Myös todella vanha haju saapuessamme, varmaan ilmanvaihdon puuttumisen takia. Tuuletimme huonetta joka päivä omatoimisesti pitämällä ovia auki käytävälle… Arvosana olisi 2,5/5 eli ihan ok, ja kyllä huoneessa kaikesta huolimatta nukkui sekä vietti muutamia tunteja illasta aikaa.
