Such a cute hotel and very modern. I enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee and water. The service staff was friendly. I was able to book a couple tours and they were able to pick me up from this location. I loved that it is walking distance from several of the city’s landmarks, shopping and food places.

The entire hotel is very well decorated from the lobby, to the breakfast area, to the rooms! I loved staying in the Eyja Guldsmeden hotel for my last couple of days in Reykjavik. I will absolutely stay in a Guldsmeden hotel again whether in Iceland or another country. Top notch staff … special recognition to Albert & Jennie both went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.
