Service not so great

My wife needed to have her arm surgically repaired at the local hospital. We arrived a bit early to check in and we’re told that early check-in would be $50 extra. She was with me and in a sling when the desk attendant told us this. Their inability to accommodate this Was a first for us. Especially since my wife was standing there with her injury and no empathy at all was given. When I came back an hour and a half later to check in I specifically asked for a quiet room. The room that they gave us had incredibly noisy neighbors who left the TV on loud all night long. We won’t stay there again when we’re in Richfield.

This hotel was previously a Motel 6 and it shows. The lobby, breakfast room, public areas have been nicely updated, however.our room was not. The bed and linens were comfortable and clean but the furniture in our suite was old, the rooms had terrible lighting and paint was peeling. The handrails on the stairs were 2x8" boards that are impossible to hang onto, carpet on the stairs and in the room looked dirty. Would not stay again.

Room had a crack in the ceiling in the bathroom. Staff barely around. Half the lights were either off or didn’t work on our floor- giving the creepy vibe at night. Didn’t love that we basically stayed in the basement. Both guest and staff Room doors just left open.

Dissapointing... Not to standard of other Ramadas

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Ramada in Richfield. Upon checking in, we were assigned a room that was still dirty from the previous guest—the bed was stripped, and the room had not been cleaned. The front desk staff informed us that their housekeeping staff hadn't been able to clean any of the suites on the first floor. ​They moved us to a downgraded room, which was also a problem. I found what appeared to be signs of bed bugs and documented them (not a extermanator but I the photos took/ attched are enough for me to not chance it), bringing the issue to the staff’s attention. We decided to leave and were offered a full refund. ​The refund process was slow, taking around 45 minutes to complete. During this time, we witnessed the staff check another family into the same dirty room we had been given initially. That family quickly returned to the lobby with their luggage and was moved to a downgraded room similar to ours, only to come back down with their bags as well. ​This hotel clearly has significant issues with cleanliness and a lack of proper room turnover. The situation was handled poorly and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was apologetic, but the overall experience was unacceptable and frankly, concerning from a health and safety perspective.
