The smoke detector in the bedroom has a strobe light that flashes every few seconds and it is placed directly over where your head lies on the bed at night. It is so bright you can see it through your eyelids. Additionally, NOBODY wants a barn door on the bathroom so that you get to share your bathroom experience with your travel companions.
