I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so bad that I feel obligated to warn others.
First and foremost, I was never informed that the front desk closes at 10:00 PM. I arrived at approximately 10:15 PM, expecting a normal check-in, only to discover the building completely closed. Instead of a staffed desk, there’s a random phone mounted on the side of the building that you’re supposed to use to call someone to come down and check you in. This was not communicated anywhere during booking and is completely unacceptable, especially for travelers arriving late.
After waiting in the cold, someone eventually came down and checked me in. Unfortunately, things went downhill immediately after entering the room.
• The toilet did not flush at all
• The bathroom light didn’t work, meaning there was no lighting whatsoever
• The room door looked like it had been kicked in at some point, leaving a large gap where cold air was pouring in all night
• The room itself felt unsafe, poorly maintained, and unclean
Because the toilet wouldn’t flush, I was forced to smell my own waste all night long, which is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable under any circumstances. On top of that, I had to shower in complete darkness due to the broken bathroom light.
I attempted multiple times to get help:
• Called the after-hours number — no answer.
