I can NOT recommend staying here. The office staff made random charges to my credit and debit cards WITHOUT permission/authorization. When approached with the issue, they've been anything but helpful. In total, more than $2,000 in charges have been made/attempted without a single authorization from me. I've had to cancel all cards and replace them ... and these weren't "stolen" credit cards, but actual charges from the hotel itself. My actual stay was quite nice and the the hotel was clean, well-taken care of and good. The hotel staff was friendly. It is genuinely unfortunate that a misorganized and unhelpful office staff can leave such a dangerous blemish on the facility itself.

On our one night stay there was a water main break. The hotel and portion of the city lost water, which was no fault of the hotel. The staff was courteous and kind through the ordeal and kept us informed. They worked hard to ensure the guests were still provided for. The hotel was clean and easily accessible.

Our stay was basically a good one with one major exception. The automatic switch for the bathroom is EXTREMELY obnoxious. Walking into the bathroom in the middle of the night and being confronted by the bright light comiing on automatically was very disturbing.

Excellent place to stay

Staff was very friendly. Rooms, lobby, grounds were very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, this was a fantastic experience. The only thing that would make it better would be a pool. Very close to Carowinds park.
