Checkout is at 11. By 8 am staff were knocking on our door, trying to let themselves in to clean. Never said “house keeping” , didn’t even knock twice. After we let them know we weren’t ready, they stood outside our door. So we felt rushed to hurry and leave at that point.

Won’t Stay Here Again!

Second time in Room 105. It must be the designated pet room. The bathroom is old and out of date. The sink needs a stopper. Room smells damp. Cooling/heating is noisy, sounds like a jet engine. Something wrong with the door. You have to lift the door up to get in. It was this way about a year ago. Too busy to fix?The public areas of the hotel are fine. This room is awful. Going back and forth from MN to FL, twice a year, we’ll stay at 8 LaQuinta hotels. Room #105 Rockford, by far, is the worst. We won’t stay there again.

Property safety

When I departed your property in Rockford, IL this morning at 5:30am, I was greeted outside by complete darkness. Not a property lamp was on. No building lamps were on. No parking lot lamps were on. Sunrise was an hour away. I made it to my car with the help of a few lamps from the nearby Walmart and a few interior window lamps shining out. I went inside and noted it to the staff and was told this has been going on for a few weeks. Complete darkness is a playground for trip and fall, theft. assault and more. If I had time, I would have called Rockford Police to stop by and monitor the property. La Quinta failed me completely on my safety.

We had to switch rooms the first room had a fruit fly infestation the closet doors were off the hinges. The 2nd room we went to there were questionable stains on the couch there was someones hair all over the sheets, hair around the base of the toilet, and s*** stains on the toilet rim this place is a nightmare
