Ok but not great.

The bathrooms were dirty and tub and shower had many hairs on it. The whole hotel had a bad smell and was very dim. Maybe just outdated. It wasn’t the typical Holiday Inn experience.

Overall the property was very dirty. The rooms were in poor condition. Definitely would recommend that you consider alternative accommodations if you are staying in the area.

Staff was great as when we arrived the fire alarms were going off because of a power outage from a sudden rainstorm. The front desk person handled it well. The computers were down but all went well.

Overpriced for the quality and the location. The stay was adequate. Furniture in the room could use replacement -wear and stains noted although the style of the lounge chair was nice.

I enjoyed the courtesy that they extended by letting me do an early check in as I was there for a formal event and needed to get dressed! The staff was really friendly and check-in was quick. The establishment was clean, comfortable and welcoming ❤️

This stay was better than the last few I have been to. The front desk receptionist was amazing, kind and helpful. She was quick and friendly. The pool was clean along side the room. Breakfast was above board especially when you have people like Marsha working for your establishment. My son went to get pancakes and only one came out. The batter bag was empty. He was okay with the one, but Marsha noticed that he was waiting. We sat to eat and she sought us out to ask if we wanted more. Next thing you know, this employee showed up to our table (without being prompted) with a stack of pancakes butter and syrup for the three of us. This is not the kind of service you get anymore. Way to go Marsha for going the extra mile when you don’t have to!! We come to Rockingham pretty often because we have family in the area. This is one reason we will continue to use Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites wherever we come to town from now on. Thank you for a great stay and wonderful staff! Can’t wait to see y’all next month.
